Authentic Ingredients for Perfect Pizzas, Every Time
York has plenty of places to eat, but as an Italian restaurant, Rudy’s keeps things focused on what matters most: quality and authenticity.
Our dough is made with 00 Caputo flour and slow-fermented for up to 24 hours, then topped with San Marzano tomatoes and fior di latte for classic Italian flavour and cooked at high heat for a light, airy crust.
It’s simple, honest food in a central spot that’s ideal for sightseeing breaks and evenings out, and a favourite with anyone searching for great pizza in York.

Why Rudy's York
There are plenty of Italian restaurants in York, but we only do one thing: Neapolitan pizza. A short menu we’ve spent over a decade getting right, made fresh every day by our in-house pizzaioli, trained in the Neapolitan way. Our specials change every eight weeks, so there’s always something new to try. We started in Ancoats, Manchester, in 2015, opened on High Ousegate in 2024, and now have more than 40 pizzerias across the UK. Expect great pizza, fair prices and a warm welcome, right in the heart of York.
