We pulled the last Pizza out of our Oven for our last day of training on Sunday night. We’d invited our Friends and Family to help us trial everything over the weekend and we were excited to practice before all of those that have shown us support and helped us over the past 2 & ½ years. But to say we were a little nervous, and very excited would be an understatement! Everything we have been gearing up to was for this week, and we wouldn’t have got here without these guys.

Nearly 12 months ago we started planning our next Rudy’s, we gathered round a table of full of pizzas and beer, we asked ourselves – how can we improve? What do we love, and want do we feel is important to us? We decided that we wanted to give you more space, for everyone to have the opportunity to see the dough being stretched out, we wanted to stick to our Indie roots, and continue to give a genuinely warm and relaxed Rudy’s experience.

So we decided Peter Street (or Pizza Street as we keep unintentionally calling it!) in the heart of Central Manchester would be the perfect spot. Located between Deansgate and St. Peters Square, you’ll find us next to our kind neighbours Brew Dog and Albert Schloss. Perfect spots for a pre or post Pizza pint!

The buzz and energy of Peter Street is undeniable, with high ceilings, and exposed industrial charm, watching the restaurant fill up with excited friends and family was a very proud moment for our Rudy’s gang, it instantly felt like home, tables chatting, the sound of the wooden pizza peel tapping the base of our Wood Fired Oven filling our new pizzeria, happy faces lighting up as pizzas larger than the plates that carry them land at their tables. Everything we love about our style of service & pizza in Ancoats you can find here at Peter Street as well.

We officially opened our 2nd ever Rudy’s Pizza this week. This has been a real collaboration between our co-founders Jim & Kate, and the Team at Mission Mars. Massive shout out to all of you, there is a lot of love, care and attention to detail that’s gone into Peter Street. You can see and feel it. We think it’s kinda special and now we can’t wait to show you round our new home and hear what you think… We hope that you’ll be equally as happy, proud and as excited as we are.

Welcome to Rudy’s Pizza on Peter Street! x
